Did you know about the 27 Club?
The "27 Club"
is a conspiracy theory, but with strong evidence and coincidences, that
suggests a group of famous actors, artists, and pop stars died by suicide or
under mysterious circumstances at the age of 27 between 1969 and 1971. The club
is also known as the 'Forever 27 Club' or 'Curse of 27.'
Some famous cases include
Brian Jones, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and Jim Morrison. The conspiracy
theory says that these artists were all part of the same cultural movement and
that their deaths happened at a time when the United States was going through a
lot of social and political change.
The 27 Club's origins date back to the death of Brian Jones, founder and original guitarist of the Rolling Stones. Jones was discovered dead in his swimming pool on July 3, 1969, at the age of 27.
The cause of his death was officially recorded as 'death by
misadventure,' but conspiracy theorists believe that he was killed. At the time
of his death, Jones was in poor health due to a history of drug and alcohol
abuse.
Just two months after
Jones' death, Jimi Hendrix, one of the most influential guitarists in rock
history, died in London on September 18, 1970, at the age of 27. Hendrix's
death was officially recorded as a drug overdose, but some conspiracy theorists
suggest that he was murdered. Hendrix had a history of drug abuse, and his
death was a shock to the music world.
Don't you think it's a
big coincidence? Most of them die at the age of 27, not at the age of 26, 25,
or 30.
The blues singer Janis
Joplin, who was well-known for her powerful vocals, died on October 4, 1970, at
the age of 27. Joplin's death was officially recorded as a drug overdose, but
conspiracy theorists claim that she was murdered. Joplin Joplin's death was
another blow to the music world, as she had a history of drug and alcohol
abuse.
Jim Morrison, the lead
singer of The Doors, died on July 3, 1971, at the age of 27. Morrison's death
was officially recorded as a heart attack, but conspiracy theorists suggest
that he faked his death to escape the spotlight. Morrison had a history of drug
and alcohol abuse, and his death was a shock to his fans.
The most recent member of the 27 Club was Amy Winehouse, who died on July 23, 2011, at the age of 27.
Winehouse was known for her soulful voice and her struggles with drug and alcohol addiction.
Her death was officially recorded as alcohol poisoning, but
conspiracy theorists suggest that she was murdered. Winehouse's death reignited
the conversation about the 27 Club and its mysterious nature.
Sometimes it doesn't mean
they are "murdered", they have already admitted that the world of
music and Hollywood is full of cults and pacts, possibly some are influenced to
commit suicide at age 27.
The 27 Club if it's a coincidence,
it's a pretty big one.
Despite the number of
musicians dead at 27, there is also a list of those who died at 33, which includes
Lester Bangs, John Belushi, Bon Scott and Jesus Christ.
